NBA: La Lakers 113-115 Golden State Warriors

The Los Angeles Lakers have suffered a home defeat at the hands of the rising Golden State Warriors 115 to 113 at Staples Center.

The defending champions grabbed the opener 34 to 22, before taking the next with a 4-point margin, leading to their 64 to 48 advantage at the intermission.

But the Warriors upped their game, and changed the 16-point deficit to a 2-point victory after winning the next 2 quarters.

With the result, the Lakers' winning streak was snapped after 5 matches.

They will travel to Milwaukee on Thursday to meet the Bucks, while the Warriors, who joined the top 8, welcome the New York Knicks on the same day.
