Ugo Humbert has knocked second-seeded Stefanos Tsitsipas out of the Paris Masters, with a 7-6, 6-7 and 7-6 victory.
After taking the opener, Humbert appeared to be on the brink of victory in the second set tiebreak, but Tsitsipas saved three consecutive match-points from 6-3 down, to send the match into a decider.
That’s where Humbert kept his composure and won the tiebreak, wrapping up the contest after three hours 19 minutes.
The 22-year-old Frenchman will go on to face Marin Cilic in the third round.
