EPL: Brighton 2-3 Manchester United

In the English Premier League, Lucky Manchester United have defeated plucky Brighton 3-2 in injury time, to earn their first points of the season.

Following a 1-all draw in the first half, United moved 2-1 up after the break, when Bruno Fernandes put Marcus Rashford clear in the left with a lovely pass, who cut into the area, sent his opponents to the ground and fired a shot that was deflected into the top corner.

Alireza Jahanbakhsh then came off the bench and made himself useful deep into the stoppage time curling over a beautiful cross towards Solly March, who headed in from close range to tie the game at 2-all.

But just before the referee blew the final whistle, United were awarded a penalty kick through a VAR review and Fernandes stepped up to score on the last kick of the match as the Red Devils snatched a 3-2 win over the Seagulls.
