TDF: Andersen winds stage 14, Roglich retains lead
In the Tour de France, Soren Kragh Andersen has soloed to victory on stage 14, while Primoz Roglich kept the yellow jersey without trouble.
With just over three kilometres remaining, the Dane suddenly broke clear and pedaled to his first stage win at the tour, after four hours 28 minutes and 10 seconds.
Slovenian Luka Mezgec and Simone Consoni of Italy completed the podium, both trailing the stage winner by 15 seconds.
That’s while, there were no changes at the top of the general classification, as Roglich still holds a 44 second lead over compatriot Tadej Pogačar, and a further 15 seconds over Egan Bernal.
Stage 15 on Sunday will be a mountainous 175 kilometre route from Lyon to Grand Colombier.
