NBA: Celtics take 2-0 lead over Raptors
Over the NBA, the Boston Celtics have rallied past the Toronto Raptors 102 to 99 in Game 2 of their Eastern Conference Semifinal Series.
The Raptors, who trailed from start to finish in Game 1, led by as many as 8 points in the 1st quarter, before settling for 28-all. Boston upped their game in the 2nd frame, taking a 50 to 48 lead at half-time.
Toronto fought back after the break, outscoring the Celtics 30 to 20, but Boston rallied in the 4th to win it 32 to 21 as they took a 2-nothing lead in the best of 7 series. Game 3 will take place on Thursday.
That’s while, the Denver Nuggets survived a frantic finish to complete a rally from a 3-1 post season deficit with an 80 to 78 victory over the Utah Jazz.
