Palestinians have protested in front of the German Representative Office in Gaza in solidarity with Palestinian human rights defender and Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) National Committee’s general coordinator, Mahmoud Nawajaa.

On July 30, Israeli forces abducted Nawajaa from his home in the occupied West Bank during a night raid.

The Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement started over 15 years ago in protest against Israel’s occupation of Palestinian lands.

The movement has been campaigning for a boycott of all Israeli goods, and academic and cultural activities.

Boycotting of Israeli products around the world has been growing rapidly in recent years and caused heavy losses to Israeli companies.

Israel and its allies in Washington have long rallied against the BDS, which was inspired by the South African anti-apartheid movement.

The Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement seeks to raise awareness about the decades-long Palestinian struggle for freedom and justice.

Over the weekend, an Israeli court extended Mahmoud Nawajaa’s detention for eight more days.

Since his arrest, Mahmoud Nawajaa has not been allowed to exercise his right to see his lawyer.

Activists maintain that the BDS movement will continue to grow stronger until Tel Aviv complies with international laws.

The growing popularity of the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions has forced the Israeli regime to recruit and train lawyers and legal experts worldwide to combat the movement.
