The Eiffel Tower in Paris, one of the world's most famous landmarks, reopened to visitors on Thursday, following a three-month-long closure due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Visitors were seen under the Eiffel Tower and on its viewing deck, wearing masks. As per the authorities' requirements, special areas have been set up on its base, which enable the visitors to disinfect before going to the viewing deck.
So far, visitors will only have access to the second floor of the tower, which will be reachable only be stairs in order to avoid use of the elevator.
