Sebastian Vettel says, he will leave Ferrari at the end of the year, after talks over a new contract broke down with no agreement.

The 4-time F1 World Champion was locked in negotiations with Ferrari over a new deal. It will bring to an end a 3-year contract with Ferrari, which has so far yielded 14 Grand Prix Victories, and saw the German finish runner-up twice in the F1 drivers' championships.

An announcement from Ferrari is expected on Tuesday, confirming Vettel's departure at the end of the season. Ferrari is yet to make any firm decision, on who will replace the German as Charl Leclerc's teammate for 2021.

But Carlos Sainz Junior for Mclaren, and Renault’s Daniel Ricciardo, are understood to be the leading two candidates.
