Dirty work in Libya

Chaos has been a daily reality in Libya recently at least since former dictator Muammar Gaddafi was killed by protesters.

Oil reserves in Libya are the largest in Africa and among the ten largest ones globally, which makes the country very important for the world powers.

Apart from oil, Libya enjoys a strategic position as the gate to Europe for many of the African refugees and asylum seekers unwelcome in the first world.

Today power play has brought about a severe turmoil in the country, with various factions vying for influence over the oil-rich nation.

We will also delve into the crisis in the Central African Republic or CAR, a country torn apart by recurring conflicts.
