Chinese Grand Prix postponed due to deadly Coronavirus outbreak
The Chinese Grand Prix has been Postponed due to the recent outbreak of Coronavirus.
A joint statement made by the International Automobile Federation, and Formula 1 management, said that the requested postponement was granted to the bodies.
The FIA and Formula 1 have reiterated their commitment to reschedule the event if possible.
The outbreak of Coronavirus has claimed more than a thousand lives in China so far.
The epidemics may impact the inaugural Vietnam Grand Prix in Hanoi on April 5th as well. China Grand Prix had been scheduled to be hosted in Shanghai in April.
