Premier League relegation-threatened club Aston Villa have held their high-flying hosts Leicester City to a 1-all draw in the 1st leg of their League Cup semi-final tie.
Frederic Guilbert stabbed a volley in from close range at the far post to give the visitors the lead in the 28th minute at the King Power Stadium from their 1st shot of the game.
Leicester, who're currently 2nd in the league table, pressed forward relentlessly after the break and that pressure finally told in the 74th minute through a clinical finish, high into the net, by Kelechi Iheanacho.
The 2nd leg is on the 28th of January with the winners meeting either Manchester City or Manchester United in the final at Wembley.
