Trump’s bald-faced Big Lies on Iran continue

All politicians lie, deceiving the public by being able to reach a large audience and get widespread media coverage.

US President Donald Trump exceeds the worst of his predecessors, operating in bad faith, never to be trusted.

He broke virtually all positive pledges made to ordinary Americans, ones he doesn’t give a hoot about, treating them with contempt.

His MAGA agenda is all about serving wealth, power, and privileged interests exclusively, waging wars of aggression, color revolution attempts, and coup plots, aiming to replace legitimate governments with US-controlled puppet regimes.

Virtually nothing he says is credible, especially about sovereign independent nations he wants transformed into US vassal states, their resources plundered, their people exploited as serfs.

Tops on his regime change list are Cuba, Nicaragua, Venezuela and Iran, Bolivia’s Evo Morales on it toppled by a CIA coup, fascist tyranny replacing him, what US hardliners want installed everywhere, democracy or anything resembling it eliminated wherever it exists.

Trump’s economic terrorism on Iran aims to starve and otherwise punish its ruling authorities and people into submission.

Virtually all his remarks about the country are bald-faced Big Lies, along with showing profound ignorance about the region’s leading proponent of peace, stability, and mutual cooperation with other nations — threatening none except in self-defense if attacked.

Throughout Islamic Republic history, its ruling authorities never attacked another nation — what the US, NATO, and Israel do repeatedly.

On Tuesday, Trump willfully and maliciously lied, saying “Iran is killing perhaps thousands and thousands of people right now as we speak.”

“Not just small numbers which are bad, big numbers which are really bad, and really big numbers. It is a terrible thing and the world has to be watching.”

What Trump suppressed was as follows:

Days of violence in Tehran and other parts of the country last month had CIA dirty hands all over them.

What began peacefully as a protest against a petrol price hike was manipulated to turn violent by CIA-recruited thugs, including elements from the anti-Iran MEK terrorist group.

Carefully planned and staged well in advance, there was nothing spontaneous about what went on for days before quelled, its ringleaders rounded up and arrested.

Armed insurgents were responsible for deaths, numerous injuries, widespread violence and vandalism — an operation requiring considerable advance planning.

Trump and US establishment media falsely blamed Iranian security forces for the CIA-staged plot that was and remains all about destabilizing and weakening the country.

What happened, along with 40 years of US hostility toward Iran, is what the scourge of imperialism is all about.

On Monday, Trump and Netanyahu (charged with bribery, fraud and breach of trust) discussed Iran by phone, falsely accusing the country of posing a regional threat — the accusation clearly applying to the fascist regimes they head, not the Islamic republic.

Netanyahu lied claiming “while (Iran) is killing its own people (sic), European countries rush to (offer) support (sic)” — his remark polar opposite reality.

Since Trump illegally abandoned the JCPOA in May 2018, an international agreement unanimously adopted by the Security Council, making it binding international and US constitutional law under its Supremacy Clause (Article VI, Clause 2), Britain, France, Germany and the EU breached the deal by failing to observe its provisions.

Netanyahu also ignored his own high crimes of war, against humanity and other atrocities against defenseless Palestinians and elsewhere regionally.

The Jerusalem Post criticized him, saying everything he does is “suspect,” his actions directed at “sav(ing) his political skin.”

Commenting on his Monday conversation with Trump, he said “(w)e talked about Iran, but we also talked at length about historic opportunities that stand before us in the coming months — among them (annexing) the Jordan Valley as the recognized eastern border of the State of Israel (sic) as well as a defense treaty with the United States. Things we could only dream of, but now we have the opportunity to realize them,” adding:

We “always remember and follow the basic rule that guides us: Israel will defend itself by itself in the face of every threat.”

Since the October 1973 Yom Kippur war ended, Israel’s only threats were invented ones.

No real ones exist so its ruling regimes have to invent them to unjustifiably justify their regional aggression.
