Borujerd is the second largest city in Lorestan Province. In its golden ages during the Qajar dynasty in the 18th and 19th centuries, it was selected as Lorestan and Khuzestan region’s capital. Borujerd has maintained its old architecture and lifestyle mostly through its mosques, bazaar, and houses built during the Qajar period.
