Paris Masters: Djokovic reaches semifinals

Serbia's Novak Djokovic celebrates after defeating Greece's Stefanos Tsitsipas in a quarterfinal match of the Paris Masters tennis tournament Friday, Nov. 1, 2019 in Paris.

Novak Djokovic has thrashed Stefanos Tsitsipas 6-1, 6-2, to book his place in the last 4 of the Paris Masters.

The Serbian superstar raced through the opening set and came close to blank the Greek as he set up three set-points at 5-love. Tsitsipas saved them all, but then surrendered the set in the next game.

In the second set, Djokovic secured an early break and did not look back as he avenged his loss to the Greek in the quarter-finals of the Shanghai Masters this year, in just 58 minutes.

Djokovic next faces Grigor Dimitrov for a place in the final.
