The US attack on Huawei

The trade and technology war between the United States and China has reached unprecedented levels.

One of the main bone of contentions between the two super powers is tech giant Huawei and its increasing power in telecommunication markets worldwide.

Last month US authorities added Huawei to a list of companies considered a threat to US national security. The move now means that the company needs permission to acquire US technology. Following the ban, Facebook announced that it would deny Huawei permission to preinstall Facebook, WhatsApp, and Instagram apps on its devices.
