US President Donald Trump has described the mainstream media as "fake news" and the "absolute enemy" of the people and the country.
Trump renewed his attacks on mainstream media on Tuesday.
He labeled the "Fake News Media" as "dishonest" and "corrupt," lamenting that "there has never been a time like this in American History."
"Very exciting but also, very sad!" he tweeted. "Fake News is the absolute Enemy of the People and our Country itself!"
The Fake News Media has NEVER been more Dishonest or Corrupt than it is right now. There has never been a time like this in American History. Very exciting but also, very sad! Fake News is the absolute Enemy of the People and our Country itself!

Trump frequently attacks news coverage of his administration he considers unfavorable as "fake news".
Recently, his anti-media attacks have focused on the outlets which ran news blaming Trump for stoking extremism and violence that led to last week’s twin terrorist attacks in New Zealand.
In order to blame Trump for the deadly attack, several journalists simply focused on the Christchurch attacker's manifesto.
In the manifesto, the terrorist cited the US president as one of his sources of inspiration, describing Trump as a “symbol of renewed white identity.”
Most people across the world share the opinion that Trump has used his huge influence as the US president to stoke white extremism worldwide.
