Catalonia hit by a 24-hour general strike

Schools, universities, hospitals, and public administrations in Catalonia have been partly shut due to a one-day general strike. The strike coupled with street protests came in support of the Catalonian leaders who are being tried by Spain's Supreme Court for their role in the 2017 independence referendum.
