China: 5 dead, 21 injured after armed bus hijacker runs over pedestrians
Five people, including a local police officer, were killed and 21 others were injured after a hijacker with a knife drove into pedestrians in Longyan City on Tuesday.
The incident happened in the southeastern Province of Fujian at around 15:20 local time (07:20 GMT).
The suspect has been then detained by the police.
Police gave no details on the attacker's identity or motive. An investigation is underway.
