President Donald Trump has misapplied his family-run charity to take political and economic advantages, says a commentator.
New York State Attorney General Barbara Underwood filed a lawsuit against the Trump Foundation in June, claiming that the US president had been misusing the charity to promote his business interests and his candidacy during the 2016 Election.
Edward Corrigan, international lawyer, told Press TV on Wednesday that Trump is essentially “a con man” who uses items at his disposal such as his family-run charity “for his election campaign or for his business interest.”
“Trump is number one when it comes to scandals and the abuse that he has done to be the presidency,” the lawyer said.
