In the UEFA Nations League, the Netherlands have come from 2 goals down to draw with Germany and advance to the semi-finals of the tournament.
The Germans needed just 9 minutes to open the scoring when Timo Werner’s lovely strike found its way into the back of the net.
10 minutes later, Leroy Sane doubled the lead for the hosts with a left-footed shot from the center of the box. The Dutchmen halved the deficit 5 minutes from time, thanks to Quincy Anton Promes beautiful curl.
And in the final moments, the comeback was completed as Captain Virgil Van Deyk beat Manuel Noyer with a right-footed shot to level the scoring. With the draw, Ronald Koman’s squad made it to the semi-finals. France are 2nd in the group, while the Germans have been relegated to League B.
