South Korean President Moon Jae-in has stressed the need for dialog with North Korea as a path toward the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula in his New Year’s news conference. The South Korean leader’s remarks follow the landmark meeting between the two Koreas a day earlier, which secured Pyongyang’s participation in the winter Olympics coming up in February.
