Despite volcanic eruption warnings by the Indonesian authorities for Bali Island, some people in the danger zone are carrying on with life as normal and have refused to leave their homes.
Bali's Mount Agung has shown increasing signs of volcanic activity in recent weeks, causing hundreds of tremors and releasing thick smoke every day. Local authorities have acted by setting up an exclusion zone, which extends 10 kilometers from the top of the crater.
However, many nearby residents in the small village of Nawakerti, which lies just three kilometers away from the volcano, have refused to abandon their homes.
