Kashmiris protest worsening conditions of prisoners in Indian jails

In Indian-controlled Kashmir a shutdown is being observed as a protest against deteriorating conditions of Kashmiri prisoners in Indian jails in the region. Called by pro-independence groups, the shutdown is also aimed at sending a message to the Indian army to stop its operations in the region. Our correspondent in Indian-controlled Kashmir, Shahana Butt has more in this report.
