Mass arrests in Saudi Arabia

Riyadh orders mass arrests of Saudi princes and billionaires. Saudi Arabia arrests 11 Princes, Including Billionaire al-Waleed bin Talal. It is said that this move is an attempt by the prince to consolidate power: Will it work? With the new arrests, he now appears to have established control over all three Saudi security services: The military, internal security services and national guard. But many say this move will backfire since it will rattle the cages of the other princes.

Trump's Asia tour

US President Donald Trump has begun a tour of Asia with Japan as his first destination. Trade will be the main subject during Trump’s trip as he is going to persuade his Asian allies to adopt policies more in favor of his country. On air force one Trump said, “One of the things we’re going to be very focused on is trade because trade has not been done well for 25 years by the United States with this part of the world, with any part of the world.” By shifting the focus to trade, Trump hopes to divert attention from political controversies back home. Trump also hopes to build up a united front against Pyongyang. That’s while South Korea's new leader is not satisfied with Trump’s bellicose rhetoric about North Korea.
