An analyst believes a nuclear disarmament resolution proposed by Iran, which has been approved by the United Nations, is important because it draws the world’s attention to the reality of Washington's nuclear weapons policy.

“The United States is determined to pursue, as it has for years, a hypocritical, two-face policy of, on the one hand, maintaining by far the world’s largest arsenal of nuclear weapons, well at the same time trying to get other countries from developing nuclear weapons themselves. This hypocritical policy is underscored by this resolution,” Mark Weber, the director of Institute for Historical Review, told Press TV in an interview on Sunday.
