More Kurds return to Iraq’s Kirkuk as city sees more calm

Iraqi forces continue to secure more areas illegally seized by the semi-autonomous Kurdistan region in recent years. The troops have recaptured a number of key regions and border crossings along Iraq’s borders with Iran and Syria. At the same time, more Kurdish citizens return to their homes in the city of Kirkuk as calm prevails the city following a row between Baghdad and Erbil.
