AIMAG: Iran wrestlers win 6 gold, 2 silver medals
Iran have managed to win 6 gold and 2 silver medals in the men’s Greco-Roman Wrestling during the 5th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games underway in Ashghabat.
On Tuesday, the Iranian wrestlers showed a flawless performance as Farshad Belfakeh, Pejman Poshtam, Mahdi Ebrahimi, Saman Azizi, Amirhossein Hosseini and Behnam Mahdizadeh all won gold in the 71, 75, 80, 85, 98 and 130Kg categories, respectively.
That’s while Mohsen Hajipour and Amin Souri won 2 silver medals in the 59 and 66kg classes for team Iran.
