South Korea is seeking to develop its heavily fortified border with North Korea as a global attraction. Seoul says the move is aimed at re-unifying the Korean Peninsula and avoiding the North Korean aggression. It plans to focus resources on good tourism sites in and around the no-man's-land as well as diversifying programs and providing safe and easy access for visitors.
