Afghanistan facing insecurity 15 years after 9/11 attacks

As the US marks the 15th anniversary of 9/11 attacks, people in Afghanistan lead their daily lives amid rising insecurity and violence. Washington’s invasion of Afghanistan in 2001 was triggered by September 11 attacks under the pretext of fighting terrorism in the country. The invasion has, however, failed to bring peace and stability to the war-weary Afghans.
