Saudi Arabia commits another crime

At least 11 children were killed and dozens more wounded after Saudi warplanes targeted a religious school in northern Yemen on Saturday. The UN secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon this time couldn’t fall short of condemning the flagrant war crime committed by the regime in Yemen. The United Nations has described the attack as a violation of human rights and called for an independent investigation. Aid group Doctors Without Borders and UNICEF have already confirmed the deadly attack on the school in the Sa’ada province.

Chaos in Milwaukee

The US Midwestern city of Milwaukee was the scene of real chaos this past weekend. The chaos came after a new police shooting of an unarmed African American triggered violent protests, attacks on public properties and gunfire. These have once again brought the US police brutality against African Americans in the spotlight. What triggered similar riots in Ferguson, Missouri, in 2014 and Baltimore last year.

US churches against Israel

The Israeli regime is now under fire over the settlement expansions from a religious institution in the US: the Evangelical Lutheran church. The Evangelical Lutherans have ratified a resolution at their church, demanding Washington end all aid to Tel Aviv if Israel does not stop expanding settlements. They also called on the US government to enable an independent Palestinian state. The church called for halting all investment in companies that profit from the Israeli occupation and urged the US president to recognize the State of Palestine. The US government has not reacted to the statement by the Evangelical Lutheran church.
