Iraqi Peshmerga forces gain more ground against ISIL in Nineveh

Iraq’s Peshmerga forces have launched a massive operation east of Mosul in Nineveh province as part of a plan to tighten the noose around Daesh in the city. The offensive has so far been successful with the militants losing territory it controlled for two years.
