After pass-code and finger-print secured phones, a security-enhanced Samsung phone has been released that can be unlocked with a single look.

The South Korean company’s new phone Galaxy Note 7 features an iris scanning option. The technology matches patterns in the users’ eyes with what was embedded in the phone during setup to unlock.

The phone has a secure folder that can store confidential documents accessible through the iris-scan or the more conventional methods.

The company has also prepared a similar bio-metrics-based service called ‘Samsung Pass’ that websites or other kind of security checks can employ.

The device which is also water and dust-resistant will be soon available for purchase in South Korea and other countries.
