UN has done nothing about Israeli crimes: Commentator

Press TV has interviewed Eli Joseph James, a radio host and political commentator in Chicago, about UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, blasting Israel over plans to construct new settler units in the occupied Palestinian territories, calling for an end to such unlawful activities.

The following is a rough transcription of the interview.

Press TV: Where does this new found courage, if I may use that word, come on the part of Ban Ki-moon to speak the truth?

James: Well unfortunately the United Nations, NATO and all of these both high government organizations and non-government organizations presumed to speak for the people are in fact simply speaking for the warmonger state, the international bankers.

There is no way that the Israeli state has anything but ill will against the Palestinian people. The settlements, the 40-foot wall that they put up between the Israeli settlers and the Palestinians are proof that it is an apartheid state and every time the Israelis make a public statement, it is simply to lie to the world that they have good intentions and part of their lying includes false accusations against others as if others are terrorists when in fact the Israeli state is the number one terrorist state on the planet.

Press TV: And of course Ban Ki-moon there had equal criticism for even Palestinian leaders and the fact that they have been incompetent in forwarding their people’s cause, how do you feel about that?

James: Well that is ridiculous accusation. The fact is the Palestinian people and their leadership have been under continuous assault by Israeli jets and bombs and assassins. They assassinated Gaddafi, they are making war on Assad in Syria and they assassinated Yasser Arafat. So how are the Palestinian people supposed to maintain a “dialogue” with such a terrorist state as what the Israelis in fact are?

Press TV: And so when we hear a UN chief speak like this, should we have any hope at all that the UN can actually act?

James: The UN is actually a puppet organization of the House of Rothschild that is the Bank of England. It was created by the Bank of England as a result of World War II. They tried to do the same thing at the end of World War I. It was called the League of Nations.

If you look at the United Nations very carefully, it is run by several major banks - the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank, and the Bank for International Settlements. The United Nations is a fraud and any statements made by the United Nations is meaningless and as you can see ever since 1948 …, by the way the UN created the Israeli state, ever since 1948 there has been nothing but warfare all over the planet and the UN has done absolutely nothing about any of it.
