US Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton would “crush” the Republican Party’s two top presidential candidates, Donald Trump and Ted Cruz, GOP Senator Lindsey Graham has warned.

"I hope we can give some momentum to someone other than Sen. Cruz and Mr. Trump. Fine folks, but I think Hillary Clinton would clean their clock," Graham told South Carolina news station WLTX Fox19 on Friday.

Graham, who last month dropped out of the 2016 presidential race, has repeatedly criticized Senator Cruz and billionaire businessman Trump, who are in a neck-and-neck race in next month’s Iowa caucuses.

Graham has been particularly targeting Trump, who has been leading the Republican primary in nearly every poll.

The South Carolina senator recently said Trump “is destroying the Republican Party's chance at winning an election.”

In another interview with Fox News on Friday, Graham said that he does not consider Cruz a politically viable alternative.  "Ted's smart, but I think that Hillary Clinton would do a number on him.”

Graham, however, praised his friend, Jeb Bush, who was once the presumptive Republican Party nominee but, as some analysts say, Trump has destroyed Bush’s candidacy.

"I like Jeb a lot. Don't write Jeb Bush off," insisted Graham.

The favorability of Bush among GOP voters has dropped to new lows during last seven months, according to a new Gallup poll released on Friday.

Bush had a net favorability of +27 in July, but in the latest poll it is -1.

According to American scholar Dr. Kevin Barrett, this has happened because Trump has exposed former Florida Governor Bush’s role in the 9/11 coup d'etat.

“Jeb Bush is a 9/11 criminal, who participated in the destruction of the World Trade Center and the murder of almost 3,000 Americans,” Dr. Barrett told Press TV on Friday.

The September, 11, 2001 attacks, also known as the 9/11 attacks, were a series of strikes in the US which killed nearly 3,000 people and caused about $10 billion worth of property and infrastructure damage.

US officials assert that the attacks were carried out by 19 al-Qaeda terrorists but many experts have raised questions about the official account.

They believe that rogue elements within the US government, such as former Vice President Dick Cheney, orchestrated or at least encouraged the 9/11 attacks in order to accelerate the US war machine and advance the Zionist agenda.
