Reports say a hotel used by officials of Yemen’s fugitive former government has been hit by a rocket attack in the southern port city of Aden.

Media reports suggest Khaled Bahah, who was prime minister in the cabinet of fugitive former President Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi was staying at the Qasr Hotel. It is not clear if he has been injured in the attack. Security sources say columns of smoke were rising from the hotel in the western suburbs of Aden. Bahah and several other ministers in Hadi’s cabinet were residing in the hotel since their return to the country on September 16. Hadi and his ministers fled to Saudi Arabia in March following advances by Ansarullah fighters and their allied forces in the Yemeni army who managed to take control of capital Sana’a and large parts of the country.
