OECD proposes new laws to stop $240 billion in global tax evasion

The OECD think tank has presented a plan which aims to end what it calls the current “golden era of tax evasion”. Tightening up corporate tax laws and closing loopholes for the wealthy could save nations some 240 billion dollars in unpaid taxes, and the OECD says even that estimation is conservative.
