French Formula 1 driver dies after 9 months in coma

Jules Bianchi: F1 driver dies from Suzuka crash injuries

After spending 9 hectic months in a coma caused by severe head injuries, Promising French Formula 1 driver Jules Bianchi has finally passed away.

Bianchi crashed his Marussia car into a mobile-crane at high speed in wet conditions at the Japanese F1 Grand Prix on October 5th last year. The crane was being used to pick-up another crashed car. The 25-years-old died in hospital near his parents' home in Nice. His family said “Jules fought right to the very end, as he always did, but today his battle came to an end.” - The Manor F1 team, which was known as Marussia back then, said they were “devastated”.
