Iranian juniors face China in Asia handball tournament opener
Iranian junior women’s national handball team is to take on the Chinese squad in its opening match at the 13th edition of Asian Women’s Junior Handball Championship scheduled to be held in Kazakhstan early next month.
The young Iranian female athletes will play against China in the Kazakh city of Almaty at 3:00 p.m. local time (0900 GMT) on August 6.
The Iranian outfit will face Japan on the following day at 7:00 p.m. local time, before its third showdown against Uzbeks at 5:00 p.m. on August 8.
Young Iranian handball players will have a rest day on August 9, before facing the Tajik team at 3:00 p.m. local time the following day.
The Iranian sportswomen will take on South Koreans at 7:00 p.m. local time on August 13, and will end their campaign at the sports event with a match against the hosts at 5:00 p.m. local time the next day.
The 13th edition of Asian Women's Junior Handball Championship will open in Kazakhstan on August 6, and wrap up on August 14.
The tournament will bring together junior handball teams from China, Iran, Kazakhstan, Japan, South Korea, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
