We’ll torture your sons: ISIL to Lebanese

The ISIL Takfiri terrorist group has threatened to torture nine Lebanese it holds captive in retaliation for the alleged maltreatment of their fellow Takfiris in Lebanon.

“Your government tortured our brothers so we will torture your sons,” the group said to the families of the captives via the instant messaging application WhatsApp on Sunday, Lebanese daily The Daily Star reported.

“You will not see anything from us but the extreme misery of your children,” read the threat.

The threat came after the leakage of footage allegedly showing members of Lebanon’s Internal Security Forces' rough treatment of the terrorists in the Roumieh Prison, Lebanon’s largest prison, located in its west.

The militants are also demanding the resignation of Interior Minister Nouhad Machnouk, the paper wrote.

ISIL said it would commence the torture in 72 hours unless Machnouk resigns.

ISIL Takfiris initially captured 11 Lebanese servicemen during an incursion into the town of Arsal last August before beheading two. The al-Nusra Front terrorists also hold another 16 soldiers captive.

The terrorists have infiltrated into eastern Lebanon from Syria, where they have waged a deadly militancy against the Syrian government and people.

The Lebanese resistance movement of Hezbollah’s Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah has declared an operation called Arsal Campaign to wipe ISIL terrorists operating in east Lebanon off the region.
