Israeli settlers set fire to 250 olive trees in West Bank

Israeli settlers in the occupied West Bank set fire to a Palestinian olive grove, destroying up to 250 trees.

Local Palestinian sources say the attack occurred north of the city of al-Khalil, also known as Hebron. Days earlier, Israeli settlers vandalized around 80 acres of land planted with olive saplings northeast of the city. According to Palestinian sources, over 800-thousand olive trees have been uprooted by Israeli settlers since 19-67. This is while the olive industry is a main source of income for many Palestinian families.
