Despite people's relentless efforts to counter social vices, crimes against women continue unabated. Rapes, molestations, dowry deaths, and honor killings are still common in the country.
Although after independence from the British rule India adopted its constitution and replaced the old laws with new ones, there are still major voids. Our reporter Shahana Butt has more details.
