Taliban killed 7 Hazara Shia Muslims here in Afghanistan. They were taken off from a bus and then stabbed to death. And it once more shocked the nation. Families of the victims gathered outside the parliament and blocked its main entrance. All they want is justice.

These protestors think President Ashraf Ghani is not doing enough to secure the release of their loved ones. About two months ago, a big kidnapping happened in the south.
Taliban abducted 31 Shia Muslims while they were traveling to Kabul. They were all breadwinners for these families.

Taliban remain a big threat to all. Over 10,000 civilians were killed last year in this country. And Taliban was found responsible for the bulk of those casualties. Abduction of Shias is their new tactic.

Hazara communities make up around 20 percent of this country’s population. They enjoyed much more freedom and safety over the past 13 years. But now it is too difficult for them to travel from one place to another in this country because insurgents do not miss any opportunity to target them. And it has become the sad reality of their life now.
