Lebanese doctors stage protest to show solidarity with Yemenis

Medical doctors in Lebanon held a protest in solidarity with the Yemeni people in front of the UN headquarters as the Yemeni hospitals, schools and residential areas are being pounded by Saudi warplanes on a daily basis.Head of the Lebanese Doctors Association told PressTV that the medical sector in Lebanon is working hard to extend a helping hand:


The medical sector in Yemen is struggling to cope with the enormous number of wounded civilians, but under the current situation little aid is entering the already impoverished country.Nearly 400 children have been killed as a result of the Saudi aggression on Yemen:


Doctors and activists are voicing fears that Yemen could reach a humanitarian crisis soon with hospitals being easy targets for Saudi warplanes. The disaster has resulted in repeated calls on the international community to take action on the deteriorating situation in Yemen.
