Iran’s nuclear negotiating team says an agreement is possible if the P5+1 make important political decisions and coordinate their various and sometimes contradictory positions. Press TV’s Homa Lezgee reports from the venue of the talks in the Swiss city of Lausanne.

Intense nuclear talks between Iran and the P5+1 have disturbed the normal calm of the lakeside Swiss city of Lausanne.

Inside the Beau-Rivage Palace, Iranian and US ministers, deputies and experts as well as the EU’s deputy foreign policy chief have been discussing ways to find common solutions on all the issues that still need to be dealt with. Reporters asked Iranian negotiator Hamid Baeedinejad what those issues were.

Iran’s Ali Akbar Salehi has held hours of technical talks with US Energy Secretary Ernest Moniz.Press TV asked Foreign Minister Zarif whether the sides are nearing an agreement.

Iran maintains it has shown the necessary flexibility and expects the other sides to continue talks with seriousness and coordination.

The ministers of Iran and the P5+1 are expected to meet on Sunday after which time it would become clear whether the sides are ready to announce a mutual understanding. .
