Is not difficult to find the reasons for the rise of Latinos in US job market; the most important factor is that that Hispanic employment growth will average 2.6% per year and according to the Census Bureau will continue to grow over the next 20 years.
Some economists say Hispanic workers will account for 40 percent of the employment increase in the US over the next five years. It’s also predicted that that share will jump dramatically in the decade-and-a-half after that. However, the slow economic recovery in the United States has curbed immigration from Central and South America. Lower demand for labor, and stronger economic growth in countries such as Mexico, have encouraged workers to stay home.
Some experts say the Hispanics not only help the US economic growth, but that of their homelands since a portion of their wages is sent to their families in Latin American countries.
According to US Census Bureau the number of foreign born Latinos will grow from 22 million in 2014 to over 29 million in 2034 and that labor force is needed to replace an aging and retiring workforce in the US.
