Leaders of the Palestine Liberation Organization have decided to cut all forms of security cooperation with Israel. Palestinian officials say the move is a reaction to Israel's failure to comply with the agreements signed with the Palestinians.
The organization also called on the United Nations to set a deadline to end the Israeli occupation of Palestinian lands. The PLO said the U-N should ensure establishment of the sovereign state of Palestine.
Tension has been on the rise ever since Israel refused to transfer more than 100-million dollars of tax revenues to Palestinians. The move was in retaliation for the Palestinians' decision to join the International Criminal Court.
