Press TV has interviewed Rodney Shakespeare, a political analyst, from London to discuss the unlawful secret surveillance programs and intelligence activities by the US and its allies.

The political commentator said the US, British and Israeli intelligence agencies have launched a campaign to invade the privacy of the people worldwide through tracking and monitoring their communications.

Shakespeare said the US and its allies have been seeking a massive public manipulation scheme by collecting personal information about citizens and controlling their social network accounts.

He added that the US and its allies will readily use any of the information they have obtained through espionage and abuse it to control the people.
