Egyptian angry over release of Mubarak's sons

Sons of Egypt's former dictator Hosni Mubarak, Alaa and Gamal were released on Monday from prison following a court last week. Alaa and Gamal- who were both heavily involved in politics, business and corruption during Mubarak's era- were behind bars over the past 4 years.

They were widely seen as corrupt people by the general public. It was once feared that Gamal was being prepared to be Egypt's next president after becoming the second top-ranking man in the former ruling National Democratic Party.

As with Mubarak's acquittal, their release is seen as a blow to the Egyptian revolution .This, after local media reported that Gamal would be making a comeback to the political scene.

The release of Mubarak's sons could further spark street demonstrations that are already gripping the country on the 4th anniversary of the revolution, as more people feel that the country is drifting away from its revolutionary goals and returning to an authoritarian state where opposition is simply not permitted.
