Iran's national mathematics Olympiad team has been crowned champion of the fourth International Mathematics Competition of Shanghai (IMSC 2026).

Two scientists from Iran’s Royan Institute have been recognized among the world’s top 1% most highly cited researchers based on the Essential Science Indicators (ESI) compiled by Clarivate.

Iranian researchers at a knowledge-based company have developed rapid gas detection kits capable of identifying the type and concentration of hazardous gases within seconds, placing the country alongside Germany and Japan as the world's only producers of the advanced technology, the company's CEO said.

By developing the Oncopore G2121, a domestically-produced electrochemotherapy (ECT) system featuring proprietary probe technology with no foreign analogues, Iran has joined the United Kingdom and Italy as one of only three nations worldwide capable of manufacturing this advanced cancer treatment device.
