Palestinian Prisoners’ Day continues to be observed around the world.
In the US capital, a conference has been held to mark the occasion and to highlight Palestinian prisoners’ plights.
The event also drew analogies between Palestinian prisoners at Israeli jails and African-Americans who are regarded as the most unjustly imprisoned population in the US.
